Site Tours

The journey of the co-design and co-delivery of Te Wharekura between Te Kaunihera o Tāmaki Makaurau/ AUckland Council and local iwi Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei - from (very) bumpy beginnings to successful result.

Come ready to share your own experiences, exchange stories, and learn together in this dynamic discussion.

You'll have the opportunity to visit and explore Te Wharekura firsthand, delving deeper into this transformative cultural and marine education space housed in a 108-year-old heritage kiosk, now revitalised to offer immersive experiences for both locals and visitors.

Read more about Te Wharekura here.

Keen to showcase a project? We're looking for organisations and groups to host site visits in the CBD area during the conference. This is your chance to highlight a project - whether finished or ongoing, that demonstrates a strong community focus.

Have a project with standout community engagement? We'd love to hear about it! Reach out to us at events@iap2.org.au
