Transport
Auckland International Airport is approximately 20 kilometers (about 12 miles) from the Auckland Central Business District (CBD).
Taxi or Rideshare (e.g., Uber): Taxis and rideshare services are readily available at the airport. The journey typically takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic.
Shuttle Services: Several shuttle companies offer shared rides to various locations in the CBD, which can be economical if you're traveling with others.
On-demand taxi's and super shuttle ranks are located at the Transport Pick-up zone - lanes 2 and lane 3, located outside door 11 of the arrivals area of the international terminal - a short 1-2 minute walk. At the domestic terminal they are located outside door 4.
