IAP2A Sydney Local Networking Event
Engaging with young people
About
Come join us and other Sydney-based practitioners and experts for an event where we'll delve into understanding how to better engage with young people, with plenty of chances to network.
Barbara Honeysett and Veronica Gordon from Youth Action will kick off the event with a presentation on the work Youth Action does as the peak body for young people and services that support them in NSW. This is especially timely after the Australian Government recently released Engage! A Strategy to include young people in the decisions we make, focusing on ensuring young people are empowered, valued, and included in the development of policies and programs.
Following the presentation, our panel of practitioners will share their insights and experiences on the topic, including their own projects, concluding with a dynamic Q&A session facilitated by Nina Macken, (Director, Engagement), Ethos Urban.
