1. Introduction
1.1. These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the participation in the Early Bird Registration Competition ("Competition") conducted by IAP2 Australasia ("IAP2A").
2. Eligibility
2.1. The Competition is open to individuals who register and purchase an early bird ticket to the IAP2 Australasia Conference 2024 through the official event website before 11:59 PM AEST on 14 July 2024.
2.2. Employees of IAP2A, their immediate families, and any agencies or companies associated with the Competition are not eligible to enter.
3. Entry
3.1. To enter the Competition, participants must: register and purchase an early bird ticket to the IAP2 Australasia Conference 2024 via the official event website: IAP2 Australasia Conference 2024 before 11:59 PM AEST on Sunday 14 July 2024.
3.2. Each eligible ticket purchase will automatically enter the purchaser into the draw.
3.3. Multiple entries are not permitted as each attendee must only register once.
4. Prize
4.1. The prize is a lavish two-night accommodation stay in a King Room, at the Hyatt Regency Sydney on Monday 2 and Tuesday 3 September 2024.
4.2. The prize includes the accommodation stay and buffet breakfast only, and does not cover any additional expenses such as any other meals, transport, or incidentals.
4.3. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation.
5. Draw and Notification
5.1. The winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries on Monday 15 July 2024 at 12:00pm AEST.
5.2. The winner will be notified by email and/or phone within 3 business days of the draw.
5.3. If the winner does not respond within 7 days of the notification, IAP2A reserves the right to redraw the prize.
6. Publicity
6.1. By entering the Competition, the winner agrees to participate in any publicity or promotional activities as reasonably requested by IAP2A, including the use of their name and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
7. Privacy
7.1. IAP2A will collect and use the personal information of participants for the purposes of conducting the Competition and in accordance with IAP2A’s Privacy Collection Statement and Privacy Policy.
8. General Conditions
8.1. IAP2A reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Competition at any time and for any reason without prior notice.
8.2. IAP2A’s decision in all matters relating to the Competition is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
8.3. These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
