Exploring the Impact of AI on Engagement Practice Webinar
Join Dr Robyn Cochrane and Julian Moore in an online session delving into their thought leadership paper.
Exploring the Impact of AI on Engagement Practice provides a benchmark for exploring the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies on engagement practice and arises from a desire to understand the benefits, challenges and risks associated with embracing AI in engagement practices. This comes at a time when there are rapid developments in AI, communities are increasingly diversifying, there is public scepticism of government, and legal frameworks to regulate AI are evolving within Australasia.
In order to address the initial research question, ‘How could AI impact engagement practice?’, the report has been informed by a review of academic, government, and industry research and thought pieces available in the public domain. Interviews were also conducted with eight professionals working in five leading engagement businesses. Exploring this question has uncovered key steps for engagement practitioners keen to get started, AI functions that may enhance engagement practices, as well as benefits, myths and challenges around AI adoption as well as risk mitigation suggestions.
