Dewayne Everettsmith from Mina Nina and Sarah Wilcox from Cooee Communities will immerse you in the Palawa story and culture. They will explain how truth understanding is achieved through the cultural safety proficiency pathway, closing the knowledge gap and creating tangible outcomes for Tasmanian Aboriginal people. This session will be an empowering conversation exploring culturally safe engagement, organisational cultural compliance, and supporting the employee experience by building confidence in their environments.

The site, returned to Tasmanian Aboriginal ownership since 1995, offers an immersive experience led by knowledgeable guides. We'll learn about the area's history and significance while tasting native bush tucker in season, connecting with the timeless palate of piyura kitina. This tour fosters a firsthand connection to Aboriginal heritage, cultivating understanding and appreciation for the region's cultural and natural richness.
